More breaks than ever?
I've listened to the CDs and got stuck at lip rolls because I always run out of breath.
I'm not practicing now cos' i have my national examinations this year.

But however, I've come to find out that lately my voice is becoming worse. My chest voice seems like it has a small range now and to go high I would go straight into head voice. The breaks are much obvious and it's hard for me to sustain notes as I keep getting breaks when i go close to my breaking point.
I'm not going through the first stage of puberty or something, I'm 16 already and shot up years ago.

so its not that.

HELP?..

Note: I think it's called head voice because it's the high notes and sound opera like.
No, I'm saying that you need to find your head voice, because if you don't find your head voice instead of using falsetto, the chest voice has nothing to mix with, making it so that you either pull up chest or flip into falsetto (which both tire out the voice eventually).

For the lip rolls, make sure you're relaxed. And I mean completely relaxed. Focus on your lips- they should take off the tension. Keep the same amount of effort from the low notes to the high notes. And for the high notes, bending over at the waist helps a bunch!
OK.. so you're saying as I do the practices I will be able to find a connection and get to my head voice??
wait, so when I practice high notes I would be singing in falsetto because I don't know my head voice.

Breathless during Lip rolls! I just need help for this! please?
The lesson taught me to do liprolls OR Rolling "R"s (my tongue) on a regular scale.

The problem is, how do I get on to the next lesson without completing this because for BOTH techniques, I run out of breath before I even finish one short scale.

I tried to breath out less air, but without the air i can't make those rolling sounds.

help please? Sad
Try some breathing exercises.

It takes practice and gets better over time. I used to be like that but just practice each day and it gets better.
